Over the past week or two, I've had a few people asking why we were starting the trip on Tuesday, May 27th. It's because we wanted to avoid the majority of this year's Memorial Day Weekend traffic. We didn't want to get caught in that kind of traffic, so we just figured we'd start right after the holiday.
