Count it! That's the third time on this trip we've experienced hail. This time only one of us got caught in it: Mr. King. He bravely ventured back to the campsite to put our extra tarp over the top of the tent while Elizabeth and I were using the two computers. In the process he got soaked but he won two things: more of our admiration and (perhaps more importantly) I will be buying him another drink here at the coffeehouse for his valiant efforts.The storm appears to be passing as I finish up this post - hopefully (though it's unlikely) our camp site will dry up a bit before we get back. Otherwise it will not be fun to walk through all that mud and drive up to our site. Oh and the site "flash flooded", which means the entire floor of our tent might still be wet when we get back to the site... oh well!
