We woke up around 7am to roughly 40 degree weather. After packing up, we got back on GTTS road to head out the west entrance, and loop around on highway 2, to get to the rest of the park on the east. Amazingly the middle of GTTS road is still closed because of snow!
We're off to do a driving tour followed by 1-2 hikes. The first is roughly 6 miles.
It all began when Orion and Rafael wanted to have an epic road trip before starting grad school. The two decided to invite Elizabeth and the three friends, henceforth known as we, began discussing the trip...
...after some planning, we decided to start in late May and go across the US, into Canada, and down the west coast. Little did we know that we'd end up adding a whole section of the U.S. to our trip.
After the trip, Orion is off to Stanford for his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Rafael is going to Harvard Business School for his M.B.A., and Elizabeth is going to University of Iowa Law School for her J.D.
