South Dakota: Amaizeing DisAppointment

After having heard great things, we couldn't wait to see the maize monolith known as the Corn Palace. We drove to the small South Dakota town of Mitchel to get to the kernel of the rumors only to ear some shocking news. The pop-ular venue was fielding an Obama rally, to which the man himself was soon to arrive. Security guards had the area closed off to scan for stalkers, so we were left with only a small view of the facade. Disapponted, we left to go to the lunch where I got 1350 calories huskier. Sorry for corny puns, I couldn't resist.
